Do you know what main diseases are threatening your lawn?

Would you know how to recognize and efficiently treat the most frequent diseases affecting the lawns in the area such as anthracnose, mildew, snow mould, fairy rings, rust, dollar spots and necrotic spots?

A lawn that is healthy and well maintained will better resist to the outbreak and spread of a disease. In this regard, it is essential to respect the appropriate balance, depending on the situation, between nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) to feed your lawn. Furthermore, soil that is properly aerated, including an irrigation of 2.5 cm weekly (natural + watering) and mowing the lawn at 5 cm, in the spring and fall, and between 8 and 10 cm in the summer, will make it less vulnerable.
